Jacob is a Florida native growing up in Gainesville but has recently found the rewarding opportunity to work in New Smyrna Beach at The Preston Law Firm and is enjoying the community nature of the City.
Jacob has been practicing law since 2009 when he started as An Assistant State Attorney. For 10 years he worked in various Florida circuits in a variety of capacities. In 2017, he joined the United States Air Force as a reserve Assistant Staff Judge Advocate. It’s there he learned the importance of estate planning as he prepared estate plans for an innumerable amount of airmen. In 2019, he left the State Attorney’s Office and went into private practice.
To Jacob, the key, long-term success of both the firm and the client is having a client-centered approach to work. He is here for the clients to make sure their goals are met. No two cases are the same, and each has specific issues that take an individual approach.
Outside of work, Jacob has a nine-year-old daughter that is the light of his life. As a hobby, he attempts to keep up the changing machinations/interests of his daughter. Jacob’s interest includes anything Florida, his classic car, and consuming as much audible as he can.
